Capitol Hill: A Morning & Evening

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the TheoVita Monthly Cupping. I wasn’t able to stay the whole time (give yourself about an hour if you’re going), but it was fun to gather with strangers to try some Theo Chocolate and smell/sip coffee. The picture is blurry because I didn’t want to be disruptive by using flash, but should provide a general idea of what was going on.

Some fun graffiti on the wall near-by…

That same evening I stopped by the Knee High Stocking Co to enjoy some delicious (and yet strong) punch. It was complimentary on this night, but normally it goes for $3 a glass.

My friend Jackie and I finished off the night by watching a couple of her friends and a bunch of strangers play Dodge Ball in Cal Anderson Park on Capitol Hill (or is it Bobby Morris play field? I’m confused on that part). Either way that game was intense and just watching felt participatory enough (for me)!
