How about some Beatles?

In January, a friend of mine messaged me about going to Pike Place Market to see the Beatles cover band Creme Tangerine perform. This would be their second time having a concert there, and it was all to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Beatles rooftop performance in London.

I didn’t think I’d go at first, but after thinking about it for about an hour I realized… How often do I get a chance to hang out at Pike Place Market on a Friday afternoon and experience a roof-top performance of Beatles songs? NOT THAT OFTEN! So I went and I had a great time.

Free Santigold Show (Thanks to Kia)

This last weekend Kia (the car company) was here promoting the new Kia Soul and giving out tickets to different shows that they were putting on (incl. Santigold).

One of my friends got some tickets for doing a test drive and also won some on the radio, so we got a chance to go to the free all-ages concert in some warehouse in SoDo.

It was fun… but a little lame because the music cut out 2+ times and I’m pretty sure the performance ended earlier than planned because of it. (I stepped out into the parking lot for a moment and it felt like it ended rather abruptly when I came back.)
